I don't think it has a great deal of bearing on Rand as I'm not saying she's wrong because she has conviction (though I do have my worries about those who are oversure) and JFK's presence was far more relaxed. I'm a Zen practitioner and my sensei (who is the real deal) was trying to explain to an intro group how your physicality differs as you become or are enlightened and used the way Jerry played as an example. After, I told him I had many moments of enlightenment at shows, and he responded - "we all did." I miss him so much? but so grateful I had that experience when I was young so that I know now to not expect anything less.

I believe in a limited government, a government who assures? the liberty of it's civilians and gives services a private sector can't. (and that aren't many) I believe everyone has rights, also other organism than humans. Imo humans are not entitled to the full world, but that's another discussion. Yup, the? torch on the statue now is actually the 2nd torch it replaced the first one in 1986, 100 years after the completion of the statue. The original torch is on display on the island. So I assume in 2086 the torch may be replaced again. And yes the Statue of Liberty was constructed 110 years after the birth of the United States in1886 so 2086 will also be the 310th birthday of the U.S.
