The amount we consume is just nowhere near what is present in fruits and vegetables. I don't have an issue with Paula Deen's career, but I have an issue with Paula implying that she can control her type 2 diabetes with cutting back on sweet tea and talking walks. I have been a type 2 diabetic for three? years and totally had to change my life in order to control and maintain my health. Shame on Paula Deen. It? is hard enough, emotional enough, and now she is trivializing diabetes. I would NEVER buy a diabetic product she endorses. I hope other diabetics feel the same way.

The? corn syrup is causing diabetes and so is genetics. I bet everyone of you here watching this is ingesting corn syrup in your daily diet. Paula Deen is just a corporate spokes person for foods that are designed to make you sick. She makes a living at promoting a diet that is killing her and making her filthy rich in the process. If you want to change this situation demand that companies stop putting corn syrup in food. Hunts ketchup has finally listened and now their ketchup is safe to eat.

i wanna know why the world? thinks that it is her responsibility to tell us about her personal life. She shouldn't feel obligated to tell the world about her health problems. the only thing that she is obligated to tell the world is about her recipes and cookbooks. THAT'S IT!!!!! Type 1 diabetes can be controlled with diet modifications and/or oral medication. Type 2 used to be controlled with shots. If? there an oral medication that can provide the insulin leveling hormones and medication, good for patients of that disease.

I don't care if she? is fat, has diabetes, eats and promotes recipes that most likely caused her type II Diabetes. I do criticize her for partnering with a drug company and this wasn't even brought up in the discussion. You cannot regain your health by popping pills.

america needs to know that if your eating that donut or even a bagel or a burger or any of that even the most skinniest people your on your way to getting that disease how many fat foods does the View eat everyday and alot of times you can get type two,type 1,or any other (if any) because of history the docs look at that too now ok it may seem ok to blame paula? for this HOWEVER she does stress moderation and who says that she eats like that EVERYDAY unless your her you dont know that leave her
