One of the reasons why pc gaming SUCKS. I don't care if console game lobbies aren't as flexible as pc game lobbies - if? it doesn't get me into a game within 2 minutes of my clicking start game, it's useless shit. What ticks me off is that I can almost always find a game on console and with a descent connection once I'm in game. However, with pc gaming, it's a crapshoot. Is it a computer server vs console server thing or is my internet to blame?

Old comment reply BUT, for me it was very different. In CoD, the best weapons really are for highest level players only, once I picked up a high level SMG and somehow immediately went on a 10 kill streak. For Battlefield however, I constantly switch back to low-level weapons, like the XM8 and SCAR-L, for? some reason, the low-level guns are extremely easy to control and accurate. I like the XM8 over the M416, and SCAR-L over UMP45, even though those guns are high level.

It's actually very sad to say this game- a 'Battlefield' game is seriously WORSE then CoD, really after? playing 1942, BF2, 2142, etc. that makes me sad to admit. This game is worse then ARMA 2 and it's tailored to give unfair advantages to players that play longer, no 'skill' required. I bought it- wasted the money, and after 5-6 games I'm going to uninstall it move on to another crappy FPS for 'pros' (People that want counterstrike but dont play counterstrike so they ruin other original FPSs)

Black Ops blows because the weapons are unbalanced, 7.76 does less damage then 5.56 and whoever has more rounds will win. Bad Company 2 blows because it's all recon guys and the whole interface is shitty, in 2142 you? had an advanced ingame comm system, and it was straightforward and fun. They tried to make Bad Company too 'realistic' and it's boring and shitty. Unfortunately it looks like the Battlefield game line is going the way of other FPS that start good and end being a counterstrike clone.

You need both good download speed AND a decent upload speed to play on a server. High upload speed = Good player ping. High download speed = Good server? to player ping
