I have a big question and PLEASE ANSWER ME!!! My car has traditional halogen headlights but I wanna buy a conversion kit. As we know, the halogen bulbs use 55W of power and the most common HID use 35W. My question is, will the? board computer detect any error? I'm asking this because I just installed LED lamps in the place of the marker lamps and the computer says that there is a fused lamp.

There are 2 different gases in the bulb, they combine in the? center once the electricity goes in. The color depends on the amount of the 2 gases, which are not the same ;)

It is still wrong, there is a difference between? HID projectors and halogen projectors, its called a squirrel finder and it causes light of halogen bulbs to light above the cutoff. HIDs don't need this due to their high lumen output. So in fact putting HIDs in halogen projectors is still causing problems. Not to mention half these bulbs are poorly made.

uhhh...why not just buy the H1 2000k or 3000k yellow bulbs? this shit is too annoying, plus it's too much risk involved in messin up ur lights..cause I have a friend who has a '96 integra wit the JDM front clip conversion, and all? he did was replace the bulbs wit 3000k bulbs and walah! he now has yellow halogen lights dat didnt blind on comming traffic and look great, so this is really unnecessary..just saying..

thats because your $5 oem headlights, whatever it is, is probably not aimed properly. HIDs in reflectors WILL DEFINITELY illuminate less than oems because reflectors suck. projectors is the only? way

aftermarket projector headlamps? this (this clip) is a way to go. sound like your car is a reflector type? buy those made in Taiwan projector headlamps are? not going to work. shitty quality. This type of modifications are pricy but will get the great bang for the bucks. if you want serious quality in projectors, research. You can use a reflector headlamp. That guy is just saying that they aren't meant to be used with HID bulbs. Projector type? housings will give you better light focus. Reflector type housings tend to not aim the light as well, so you aren't getting the most out of the lights, and you can end up shooting light at oncoming traffic.

Yes sir thats it!! Actually i just got these 5 dollar ones off ebay yesterday and i actually got them today. I just tried them and they work great, only thing is if halogen says blue, they really are just a bright wight. Im not going to say that they are as bright as HID, but for the price, there perfect. If you dont replace your headlights then i would say probably stick to halogens. HID's in a regular headlight destorts the light a little, depending on the headlights function. I wouldnt say their better, they definitely are brighter when in a correct headlight. I went from HID 's back to halogens just becasue i dont want to spend money on new headlights so it doesnt distort any light. If you runHID's? in a stock headlight with a reflector(most cars have)it will be like driving with high beams.

The ones you can just replace are halogens. These go? through the "igniter" which is a gas lit so you need the ballasts and stuff. Depending on your vehicle, i have a tall truck so i use halogens in the headlights and HID's in the fogs.

wow totally misleading information. First off HID? bulbs dont have a filament that burns like halogen bulbs. so OIL will not effect the bulb or the arc that ignites the gas. as far has harnessing is concerned..you can just plug your factory harness into a ballast. that's what the second plug is for. to plug into the ballast and then plug into your factory harness really poor explain of HID's if you want better info visit HIDGuy.Net. Better kits that control amps upon start up .

I wish the cops would start pulling people over with PNP HID's kits!!!!! If the shield inside the housing is not made specifically for HID's, HID's should NOT be used!!!! Same as projector lense, they have a special cut-off for HID's, Besides, you look like a jack ass with HID's in a piece of shit car....When someone passes me with the ugly fake/ cheap HID's? nice install man, i put some 10k on my brothers? 04, but directly to the factory harness, but the problem is that they flicker. Is that what the relay kit is for? I'm asking b/c i just put some in my 07 300 and they flicker only sometimes when the car engine is off. I've been researching A LOT and i came to the conclusion that it might be the computer trying to reset them, b/c they flicker just barely, like if it was the engine vibrating them, but sometimes they completely restart. Any idea? TY!

I didn't mean its a waste of time if you understand it well heheh, anyway.. Its easy to throw an "H4-3" bulb away and put an H1, H7? or whetever and use the existing ballasts and put a good hid projector.. but the headlight opening is nessesary. Its real xenon(read HID to be precise) but without focus and you blind other drivers(..most of the times). I'll see if the light is scattered too much and change the bulbs putting a good hid projector.

this is definitely not a waste of time. ALL PROPER bi-xenon's work like this, oem or aftermarket. there? is no h4"kit" that will properly give you the proper beam. EVEN if it is an h4-3 with low/high beam, it will still be scattered without projectors. it's all garbage marketing that makes people think it's a "real bi-xenon"

I've bought a h4-3 hid kit(some chinese kit), I hope my single headlight(Seat Ibiza 1.2 TDI E-ecomotive) doesn't spread the light too much, my car is new and although I could do a HID projector retrofit, seems easy enough.. maybe you can help me. i jus installed Bi-Xenon on a 2008 Ford F150. ? Two problems: (1) when i start my engine, the passenger side wont automativally come on as the driver side does. (however if i turn the knob all the way to the right, it will kick on) and (2) my high beam indicator light remains illuminated. (there is no difference in my high or low beam when engaged either) Please help as soon as possible as i am in the military and dont get a chance to be online too often.

Not all HID kits are the same. The Honda Element uses something called a Dual Filament bulb where the low beam and high beam are in the same reflector housing. This type of bulb is converted to HID using a Bi-Xenon bulb and requires? you to use a wiring harness that connects to the battery, XenonSupply ballasts come with EMI shielding and in general do not cause EMI interference with your radio.

seems like an awful lot of work for something so pointless. i can't even imagine doing that twice (once for each headlight).. id rather invest my money in a legit pair of projectors that A- will have a warranty,? ah, maybe it's the brand of silicone you use. which one do you use? i used some that I had in the house i forgot? what brand, but it seemed to have "gassed" up? i don't know if that makes sense, but it seems like it's emitting some sort of chemical that gets stuck in the lens over time. i used kwikseal or nissan butyl in the headlights i've changed up to good results so far.

Think u missed my point. You are focusing visible light AND infra-red from a torch but only visible light from a laser. What else is your explanation for the laser not burning? Acrylic transmits IR, usually around 90%. It's possible? to get acrylic in forms that completely block visible light yet transmit IR. Don't just refer to some other video using materials you don't know the specification of. A CO2 laser (cutter), for example, produces a beam of infrared light.

nice vid, bro got a question, i installed my HID kit last week but when i turn it on, on my dash board it shows that one of my lights is gone, like it is removed. Remmeber you said that you plug instead of the old bulb, plug? in the thing to send the signal to turn on the light only on one side, what about the other one ? is there something to put on the other sides swtich for my light to turn off on the dash board ?

professional dont use gloves they are around dirty shops and engines all the time. yea your supposed to wear clean gloves to prevent getting? the bulbs dirty with grease or body oils.and yes to keep your hands cleaned
