Tu più di altri dovresti sapere quanto sia? difficile girare un video da zero e contando solo su una manciata di amici. Per ciò che riguarda la parodia di Orwell, in realtà voleva essere un tributo (certamente amatoriale) alla pubblicità della Mac del 1984. That's because you're trying to open it on your localhost (Your computer) which cannot be normally be done (unlike HTML). You need to host your PHP files first on a website. Alternatively,? you could use XAMPP or EasyPHP which allows you to host them on your localhost.

If the php page itself is blank after trying to connect to the DB, this *usually* is a sign that you are indeed connected to the? DB. If you are indeed getting errors and just aren't seeing them, use mysql_error() to print out any errors the connection may be receiving.

To everyone who got the problem where at the end you enter the user information but you kept getting the die statement "Please enter a user name and a? password!" instead of a blank page - check your index.php file and make sure you are using apostrophes ' ' in everything and NOT quotation marks " " - this was my problem! I spent hours trying to figure out why my database wasnt connecting and it was all along it was that the form wasnt sending the information I entered to the login.php file.

i think the movie is difficult, but like? other movies by oshii, it's an intellectual feast if you decide to intellectually work on understanding its nuances. I think it helps to see Ghost in the Shell before, there are many "spiritual" references. Also, I really think the movie could have used more music! Too much silence, I didn't know what to feel ;))

Such a throwback, great memories. The WoW world was really still full of wonder and mystery in a way it isn't anymore. It wasn't all rosy, though. All I need to remember that is look back at all the credits I have on my? account for days the servers were down in the months following release. One moment I was looting a corpse in Duskwood, then I was stuck kneeling for 10 minutes, then I couldn't log in for three days. Never mind the frustration if a party member DC'd pre-queue system.

Whether people like something is not relevant as to whether it is good or not. Since quality is an opinion what some consider good others consider bad. The game content damaged the community. Was that not clear? The game content took away the need to form a community. Why call out "lfg Upper Black Rock Spire," when you can press a button and get a group in minutes. WotL? killed the community, and took away all the tidbits that made the game fun(smiley face, wall jumping, etc) I blame Activision.

Just because something is popular doesn't make it better than things that are relatively unknown. Fact is one of the best parts of WoW was the community, and WotL took so much of that away. My newbie feelings from exploring on? my first character, dwarf hunter, are gone. I cannot relive them but they were from when I was 8 or 9. I did not find vanilla enjoyable and quit altogether until about mid wrath and loved it. Admit it, vanilla was a huge grind and running on foot till 40 was monotonous. For younger players like I was at the time it was bad, but when wrath came I liked it alot and played, wrath was my favorite. All depends on audience.

In my opinion, Blizzard have well and truly spoiled this game from what it used to be during Vanilla/TBC. I'd love it if they made patch servers, as in theres different servers with different patches. Obviously that would never? happen due to many reasons such as money etc but that's always been on my mind, I would definitely start playing again if they done something like that. Problem is though people praps won't bother buying expansions so they'll just lost money at the same time I guess...

@Firchild, No but the fact that your tutorial is a password and username interface, implies that you can Secure the database when you can't. The most robust applications made using Access are easily broken. Even hiding the password table won't help. I know this because I wrote a background authentication module for VBA to passively track users by the machine name and user login name from the computer system? via an API. No login meant no access, as user has to exist on a network (Authenticated)

@Firchild. You have to make it known that a username and password is not secure in Access, the method you suggest is not secure, its easily compromised. So understanding risks and why code is risky or wares and the pit falls. Login in is? useful for identifying users inserting data and filtering in some scenarios. Nice vids BTW, you get to the point and no "Oh I have to mention at this point that.. or I think its important at this point to.." type comments, you know rhymes with Bull & Hooks..

Since? the game is an MMO, it's difficult to make it about 1 character. if you make it about an undead, the Alliance will be upset, if you make it about a Night Elf, the Horde would be upset. If you make it about a Death knight, paladins and Light wielders would be upset. What I give a thumbs up for is for the rogue class. people will go "WOW! The rogue class in a WoW movie? Well, just a tip, I suggest you don't use prepaid cards for payment, they only have so much money on them, and when their out, their(I think). I haven't had any experience with BlueHost, but the fact that you can't use MySQL tells me the webhos can't be to good. NOW if your looking for? a free, and believe or not, amazing alternative. I'm currently using "000WebHost". I would suggest that.

Darren, I hate to nit-pick, but I have to bring this up: GNOME, KDE and? XFCE are NOT window managers. They are desktop enviroments. Openbox, Blackbox, AwesomeWM, etc. are window managers. Window managers only define the windows. Nothing less, nothing more. Desktop enviroments have a whole crap load more. /tiny-rant

The first command you should run after your first login is passwd to change the defualt password of the root account, so you don't get hax0r'd while on the internets, better yet? add a new user account and use that instead ...

from a system administrator point of view... thats a really poor way to go about? it ;) you should go in because its ubuntu based, close enough to debian which has my heart, and set up some runlevel startup scrits in /etc/init.d with the skeleton template, then add the appropriate symlink in your default runlevel but who needs a gui in backtrack anyway

you know I found that too and for some reason or another it didn't work on my system. I read that I wasn't the only one so I opted for this approach. As with anything in computers there are plenty of? ways to go about the problem.
