...i think smoking weed should be discouraged through fines, not jail-time. It should also not appear on a persons criminal record. Fine the person 1/2 of? a percent of their annual income. It's interesting to me that this is not an issue that is brought up by the mainstream press alot; especially given the fact that a fairly large percent of journalists and university faculty have done or still do weed on a regular basis. I do think that legalizng drugs is a bad idea, because a society mad up of drugged up individuals is more easily enslaved. That being said, people should not be spending? years (or any time) locked up in a prison with rapists and murderers for weed. I, like Penn, have never done any drugs or smoked tobacco (though I do drink wine in moderation - this is healthy and has a hormetic effect). Surely you're not calling the muslim brotherhood free thinkers? Anyway, most countries allow citizens to be armed. The main difference has to do with public carry rights, which are quite restricted in many places, and what you have to do to get an owner's? permit.(Like belong to a gun club or something like that).
