I can remember back in 1972 watching them play in a local Opera house in Lawrence Kansas when they where known as White Clover. I think it was Steve Walsh's Aunt died. I am probably mistaken on the band members Aunt,? but they got some money from the inheritance and bought new equipment, then Kershner found them and signed them and got huge.? I still remember going back stage and partying with the band tho...lol goooooood times.

Great video! This is one of the live recordings in which the amplification on Robby's violin is actually? decent. I think he usually got stuck using crummy pickups or something. I love the whole majesty that the violin brings to the piece, and Kerry's intense guitar shredding is pretty sweet, too.

I found his autobiography, "Hostage to Fortune" to be quite fascinating & entertaining, full of stories about his many worldly adventures flying & sailing, writing tradecraft & behind-the-scenes drama & details of hollywood film & entertainment industry. I shot this with my HD camcorder June 10th, 2007 at 1AM. The video is mostly looking Northeast at the radio towers West of Maize. The real cool lightening starts at 3:13 into the video. The first few minutes has great thunder claps though. Make sure you crank up your speakers! Of course the HD content looks a lot better...
